This is an imported Tsurumi KTD33.0-53 submersible slurry pump, made by Tsurumi Manufacturing of Japan. The KTD series is Tsurumi's heavy-duty slurry pump range, built on the same rugged base as its KTZ dewatering pumps. It has a 3 kW (4 HP) motor for 380/400/415 V, 50 Hz, 3 phase supply and an 80 mm (3 inch) outlet. It is supplied by Standard Machinery in Imported, Refurbished & Tested condition.
The key feature of this pump is the agitator fitted below the impeller. It stirs up sand, mud and settled solids at the bottom of the pit so they are drawn into the pump and carried away, instead of building up and blocking the suction.
